In the 1980s a Russian trainer named Nazarov was the first to discover the positive effects of vibration training on the human body. Since then the research has developed enormously, so much so that in 1999 a Dutch designer invented the VibroGym.
The VirboGym generates vibrations that are transferred from a platform onto the body during exercise. In response to the vibrations the muscles contract and expand up to 30-50 times per second encouraging increases in the basal metabolic rate, an improvement in circulation and lymph drainage and strengthening of bone tissue.
This will result in more strength, increased flexibility, improved mobility and co-ordination, greater endurance, enhanced speed, reduced fat, reduced cellulite and an improved muscle recovery.
It is suitable for people of all ages, sizes and fitness levels and is used widely within Sport and Fitness, Health and Beauty and Medical professions.
